This was an inspiring read. What age group is this aimed at? I am guessing at least 12 years old? Curious how I can best prepare my 10 year old to be ready for such deep dives in 2 years.
These students are sophomores and juniors in high school. I have found that students who are given lots of opportunities to explore and build whatever they are interested in are best prepared for high school. Keep the spark of curiosity alive and strong. My favorite way to do this is to take apart old toys and have kids write out the parts, purposes, and complexities.
